Efficient quantum algorithm for solving structured problems via multistep quantum computation

چکیده
In classical computation, a problem can be solved in multiple steps where calculated results of each step copied and used repeatedly. While quantum it is difficult to realize similar multi-step computation process because the no-cloning theorem forbids making copies an unknown state perfectly. We find method based on resonant transition protect reuse that encodes intermediate without state, present algorithm solves via process. This achieve exponential speedup over algorithms solving type structured search problems.

Adiabatic quantum search algorithm for structured problems
The study of quantum computation has been motivated by the hope of finding efficient quantum algorithms for solving classically hard problems. In this context, quantum algorithms by local adiabatic evolution have been shown to solve an unstructured search problem with a quadratic speedup over a classical search, just as Grover’s algorithm. In this paper, we study how the structure of the search...
متن کاملQuantum Computation via Paraconsistent Computation
We present an original model of paraconsistent Turing machines (PTMs), a generalization of the classical Turing machines model of computation using a paraconsistent logic. Next, we briefly describe the standard models of quantum computation: quantum Turing machines and quantum circuits, and revise quantum algorithms to solve the so-called Deutsch’s problem and Deutsch-Jozsa problem. Then, we sh...
متن کاملNotes on Hallgren’s efficient quantum algorithm for solving Pell’s equation
Pell’s equation is x − dy = 1 where d is a square-free integer and we seek positive integer solutions x, y > 0. Let (x0, y0) be the smallest solution (i.e. having smallest A = x0 + y0 √ d). Lagrange showed that every solution can easily be constructed from A so given d it suffices to compute A. It is known that A can be exponentially large in d so just to write down A we need exponential time i...
متن کاملEfficient quantum computation with probabilistic quantum gates.
With a combination of the quantum repeater and the cluster state approaches, we show that efficient quantum computation can be constructed even if all the entangling quantum gates only succeed with an arbitrarily small probability p. The required computational overhead scales efficiently both with 1/p and n, where n is the number of qubits in the computation. This approach provides an efficient...
متن کاملBQIABC: A new Quantum-Inspired Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm for Binary Optimization Problems
Artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm is a swarm intelligence optimization algorithm inspired by the intelligent behavior of honey bees when searching for food sources. The various versions of the ABC algorithm have been widely used to solve continuous and discrete optimization problems in different fields. In this paper a new binary version of the ABC algorithm inspired by quantum computing, c...
